Ksubi New York
In collaboration with Legeard Studio, the Australian fashion house, Ksubi, has solidified its presence in Soho, New York City, with a newly reimagined retail space that captures the brand's signature blend of effortless and rebellious edge. Renowned for its distressed denim, sharp yet laid-back silhouettes, and street-inspired styles, Ksubi’s reconstructed storefront embodies the brand's audacious aesthetic and daring spirit.
Legeard Studio has masterfully balanced the raw, industrial elements with luxurious touches to create a space that is both energetic and striking. At the core of this Soho location is a juxtaposition of historical neoclassical influences and contemporary cementitious materials, with unfinished concrete walls forming a backdrop for the clothing. This approach reflects a dynamic tension that mirrors Ksubi's distinctive fusion of denim: a chemistry between relaxed but precisely cut garments.
The lo features rich, dark wood flooring that adds warmth to the industrial space, while red marble accents in entryways and display niches that punctuate the store with moments of contrast. These marble details not only heighten the sense of refinement but also reinforce the lo's edgy ambiance.
The walls showcase graffiti-style artwork—an homage to Soho’s artistic heritage and a reflection of Ksubi’s own countercultural spirit. A flexible design is emphasized through movable stainless-steel display cases and racks suspended on industrial chains, allowing for the store’s layout to be continuously reimagined.
This retail environment is more than just a store—it's an immersive experience where Ksubi's DNA comes to life in the heart of Soho. It’s a place where urban grit meets luxury, where architectural design and fashion converge in a way that feels uniquely bold and undeniably cool.
